I woke up at 3 a.m. with this pounding on my heart because some of my baggage showed up in my dreams minutes before. I have taken 45 minutes to carefully choose my words (this being directed toward myself but I share it in case you might benefit as well).

Being angry with someone for more than a few moments changes your disposition and countenance (affecting not just your present but your future) and hurts you far more than it hurts them.
In a way only God could craft, earthly forgiveness brings freedom to the forgiver rather than the life altering chains of unforgiveness.
Give yourself the gift of freedom… release yourself from the chains of unforgiveness.

“But they don’t deserve my forgiveness!”
You are correct.
“But they should pay!”
Perhaps but the one actually paying is you.
