We are no longer in this series but I must post this anyway. Today Amazon . com suggested I buy a book written by a historian. So I entertained the idea.
Astronomical historian, David Christian takes us on a journey of our history… imagine 13.7 billion years ago, he says:
“Around us is nothing. There’s not even time our space. Imagine the darkest, emptiest thing you can and cube it a gazillion times. And then suddenly… BAM! A universe appears… an entire universe.”
“The universe is tiny, it’s smaller than an atom… it is incredibly hot… it contains everything that is in today’s universe so it is busting and expanding at incredible speed. At first, it’s just a blur but very quickly distinct things begin to appear in that blur. Within the first second energy begins to shatter into distinct forces including electromagnetism and gravity. And energy does something quite magical, it congeals to form matter. Quarks that will create protons and leptons that will create electrons… all of that happens in the first second.”
“Now we move forward 380,000 years and simple atoms suddenly appear of hydrogen and helium. Now I want to pause at 380,000 years after the creation of the universe because we actually know quite a lot about the universe at this stage. We know above all that it was extremely simple. It consisted of huge clouds of hydrogen and helium and they had no structure… they are really a cosmic mush.”
I would go on but it really gets no better.
I present to you historical “science”. I use the word “science” because it is not real science. Real science can be observed and repeated. This has never been observed, nor repeated. It is a mere idea that has developed into the religion of evolution and most of those who adhere to this religion refuse to entertain any idea that opposes it.
It takes an incredible amount of faith to believe this… Not faith that can move a mountain, rather, faith that can create, from nothing cubed a gazillion times, the sun, stars, planets… a universe.
Adherents to this religion would have you believe no other view of our origin is scientific. So, I encourage you to read some deep science. Take your time. Don’t rush through it, after all, God created science… it doesn’t scare Him… it belongs to Him.
