We are in a series called Give It Up!  Rick Warren and his church have pointed us toward some truth and Hope and we want to pass it on to you.

It is not enough to simply believe in God.  Most of us believe in God but we are still messed up with trouble.  That belief has not taken away our past hurts, our hangups, nor our habits.

If we are going to move on with this journey, we are going to have to plug ourselves into that power.  

God is ready.

Phil. 2:13: “For God is at work within you, giving the will and the power to achieve his purpose.”

Ask God… He will give you the power to trust Him… to plug into Him.  When you open your life up to God’s power… when you submit to Him… what does He do?  “The Spirit that God gives us  …  fills us with power, love and self-control.”  2 Tim. 1:7

I want the power to change.  I want the power to do things differently.  I want the power to make things right in my life.  I want the power to feel love.  I can’t do this but He can do it for me.

How?

First, I believe that God exists and I believe that He does know and care and have the power to help me and then I receive Him into my life—Jesus Christ put Your Spirit in me.

It is about this… help… Jesus, I need your help.

Believe that God exists and He cares about you.

Do you feel like you are drowning in this struggle.  Is your marriage exploding?  Are your children running from you?  Do you feel like you are going under for the last time?  Is life taking you down and under and out for good?  I invite you to take this step today… there is a higher power and his name is Jesus.  Give him your life today.  Let Him be the boss.
